Competitive Background
Coach Derick started swimming at the age of four where he went on to join his high school swim team; from then on competed on the Masters Swim Team at the Downtown YMCA in Columbus, Ohio, McBurney YMCA, NY, and most recently Columbia University’s Masters Swim Team.
Coaching Experience
Coach Derick has been coaching all levels of swimming for the past 10 years. He believes in everyone having full access to the process of having full body awareness in the water.
