Coaching Philosophy
When it comes to my approach on coaching I think about the quote ““Somewhere behind the athlete you’ve become and the hours of practice and the coaches who have pushed you is a little girl who fell in love with the game and never looked back… play for her.” – Mia Hamm.
I think about all the coaches and mentors that helped me fall in love with the game of soccer. They pushed me to be a better soccer player but also a good teammate and person. Soccer may be just a game and a sport but it also provides many life long lessons: good communication, teamwork, time management, commitment and dedication.
Additionally, as a coach I want to instill confidence in my players. Showing them I care and believe they can do it. Mistakes happen and it’s okay.

Most Memorable Sports Moment
Having the opportunity to hang out with Brandi Chastain. She was one of my favorite USA WNT Members. Meeting her took me back to being 12 years old, watching the World Cup on TV and seeing her celebration. She was very insightful and just had this presence about her. True Ambassador for Women and Girls in Sport.
